Meet Dr Peter El Shoura (Dentist)

>Today, Dr Peter’s greatest passion is helping dental patients overcome their anxiety about oral healthcare. His attentive listening skills and ability to communicate on a personal level ensure our patients feel more empowered about their dental needs and goals. He describes his care methods as “patient-driven,” meaning that each individual guides their care process.
Our patients often describe Dr Peter as being gentle, patient and a good listener. He incorporates a variety of relaxation techniques and works at each person’s pace. When treatment is necessary, he strives to provide a range of different solutions to consider, further customising the overall care experience for the people we serve.
Education and Training
Before practicing dentistry, Dr Peter was a pharmacist. He holds three degrees, including post-graduate training in orthodontics and dental implants. As such, we’re able to provide expanded services within our practice, including computer-guided implant therapy.
He holds three degrees, including:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery from The University of Melbourne
- Diploma in Clinical Orthodontics from the City of London Dental School in orthodontics
- The Fellowship in Implant Dentistry from the University of Miami, The United States in dental implants.
As such, we’re able to provide expanded services within our practice, including computer-guided implant therapy.

Outside of the Office
Dr Peter and his wife, Marise, are the proud parents of one son, Raphael. Being a dentist allows him to balance his work and personal life, spending quality time with his family, yet being available for our patients when urgent or emergency care is required. When he isn’t busy seeing patients or being a dad, Dr Peter enjoys listening to music, playing table tennis and cooking up different types of cuisines to enjoy!
